Ümit was the head of the jury in 32nd Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. September 2025.	Ümit's 2024 film Evcilik (Play House) won three awards: BEST FILM (4th Izmir International Film and Music Festival) BEST SCREENPLAY BEST ACTOR (Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival)	The filming starts on 28th May 2024 for Umit's 10th feature film in Assos - Turkey.

Ümit's latest film "Love, Spells and All That" got three awards in Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival: Best Actress, Turkish Film Critics' Award, Special Jury Prize.	Ümit was the head of the National Competition Jury in the 38th Istanbul Film Festival. The members of the Jury were Alican Yücesoy, Gaye Boralıoğlu, Derya Alabora and Andreas Sinanos.
